Women were there too. This is the historical-fiction story of Susanna Jackson-White, a survivor and founding mother.
Description
The Pilgrims migrated to the New World of North America, and women and children were there, too. Susanna was just a girl from Scrooby Manor in the early 1600s. Her father’s involvement in the Separatist Protestant movement, his faith, and commitment molded Susanna’s life and path to Amsterdam, the Mayflower, and finally Plymouth, Massachusetts, in the New World.

Reader Testimonials / Reviews :
From Penny D. - I absolutely loved this book. It is one of those reads that you actually try to slow down your reading because you don't want it to end. The author did such a great job of depicting the time and toils that women faced in that era. She made the characters come to life and did a great justice to the religious importance of coming to America. She made this book literally come to life for me. I also learned about some of the chores people saw to on a daily bases that we take so for granted.
